Silchar, Oct 19 : Muslims can never create discord in society. Any people doing so are evils, whichever religion they belong to, and should be boycotted. Maulana Sarimul Haque Laskar, a prominent Islamic scholar and chief adviser of Ahl-e-Sunnat, made the remarks while addressing the Eid Milad Un Nabi function at Silchar Islamia Madrasa in Ramnagar.
“Prophet Hazrat Mohammad has always tried to establish justice in the society. He has given the message of justice and peace since his birth. Muslims all over the world celebrate Eid Miladunnabi on the happy occasion of the birth of the Prophet Mohammad” describing the incident in Bangladesh as inhumane, Maulana Sarimul said that he strongly demands the government of Bangladesh to identify and punish those involved in this heinous incident.
The day-long program began with the hoisting of the flag in the morning on the occasion of Eid Miladunnabi followed by reciting of Naat and Qirat by students.
Ansar Hossain Baralskar, president of the procession committee, and Ataur Rahman Lashkar, general secretary, said that the huge procession of Mohammadi was not taken out in the city this year considering the COVID Pandemic.
At the end of the ceremony, the magazine ‘Dawate Haq’ of was unveiled by Islamic scholar Maulana Sarimul Haque and other eminent persons. Maulana Nazir Hossain Majumder is the editor of the bi-monthly ‘Dawate Haq’ magazine and Majbul Haque Lashkar is the executive editor.
